Thought this was the finish line.

Well, we have made it through training for 4 weeks with AIM and left 4 days afterward. It has been a whirlwind. We threw what we had left in totes and put them in storage for now. God blessed us with smooth travels getting Barley thru the airport and customs in Guatemala. We were sweating the details on his paperwork and they basically looked at them and said have a nice day. Welcome to Guatemala. We stayed in the team house for 4 days until we closed on the house. Kelsey and Angela were incredible with our transition. We have left each morning around 8am and returning at 8pm trying to get things ready preparing the house for the group. E squad Unsung Heroes arrived today. They will be reaching out in Guatemala to find more host ministries. They have been on the race for 10 1/2 months. They return in 2 weeks to the states. Once back they will have a tough choice to make. What next? How to go from a life living in community building God’s Kingdom for nearly a year to what do I do with the rest of my life? Do I get in the rat race known better as the American dream or do I figure out how do I transition to a life building the Kingdom outside of the race.

The Race is not over with the World Racers once they get home or if they go home. It is just another curve in the path that God has not revealed to them. It is not the end of the race once we arrived in Guatemala either. The race is not a sprint but it is a life long marathon. God only puts a lamp at our feet so we can only see so far and to trust in Him. He only gives enough so we totally have to trust in Him.

We now can see a little what is around the bend. We have to be patient and to trust in Him. We are humbled by this whole experience and can not put all our feelings into words. We have been blessed. We want to thank everyone who has supported us with prayer and finances. I am out of words to express our gratitude.
