We have been here for 6 weeks now. We have had many blessings along with trials. Jesus told the disciples that they would have trials but he would be with them to the end of the earth. We do no regret one instant the decision to follow Christ to Guatemala. He has blessed us in so many ways since we have been here. We have found a church home in Shoreline, a church plant from Dallas, Texas. Every Sunday you meet other missionaries and Guatemalans to worship the same God. It remains me of how the church should be in many tongues and many backgrounds we can worship together.  The Adventures Guatemala team has more than welcomed us. They are our family. We pray together and worship together once a week. Beginning in January we will be adding 3 new members to our team. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for His Kingdom in Guatemala.

Over the past 3 weeks we have been in a construction mode. We put in a new water pump, built a large deck on the roof including spiral staircase, added an event tent to the roof. Eventually we hope to be able to host racers on the roof along with the rooms. We want to give a great shout out to Lewis Poley and Mike Johnson for coming down and helping us build 54 wooden bunk beds. We saved a queen sized bed for anyone who can’t manage one of these amazing beds. We now can host pretty much any size group. With the roof we will be able to accommodate around 60 at a time.

Tis the season with Thanksgiving and Christmas arriving to give thanks and to look forward to the birth of our Lord and Savior. We want to thank everyone who has prayed for us and supported us financially. This is God’s ministry that is being supported by you. We want to invite you to come visit and do ministry with us sometime. We hope that this season brings you and your family hope and joy.
